Our Story

We are Arden Home. Three partners. Two cities. One vision.

Arden Home was built on our unified passion for creating meaningful spaces that reflect the people who call them home. We believe in weaving individual styles, stories, and lifestyles together to create unique spaces that our clients can truly call their own.

Arden derives from “ardent”, meaning passionate and enthusiastic and also a place of solitude and great beauty. Arden Home draws upon these attributes to create thoughtful and beautiful interiors.

Authentically, ardently, yours.

Katie Largent

Katie has been in the furniture business for over two decades, honing her skills at Plantation Design before co-founding her own venture, Arden Home. She’s since become a true resource for custom design in Seattle and a go-to for designers and clients looking to find that perfect piece. Pairing her background in Psychology with her work as an interior designer, she creates spaces that are not only beautiful but also functional, supportive of her clients’ well-being, and genuine reflections of their distinct characteristics. When she’s not hard at work, she’s goofing off with her hubby and two boys—a truly driven and inspiring woman who shows us it’s possible to do it all and have fun while doing it.

Brett Rogers

Brett’s passion for design and knack for business logistics keep us moving forward. Originally from Australia and a lifelong world-traveler, Brett landed in San Francisco more than a decade ago to open Plantation Design’s Northern California showroom. After 14 years with Plantation Design, Brett co-founded Arden Home and is now a partner in the San Francisco showroom. An accountant by trade, Brett’s mastery of numbers and eye for detail are true assets. With this combination, he helps his clients design their ideal space and also keeps Arden Home working efficiently behind the scenes.

Marc Waisanen

Marc’s love of architecture and design began when he peeked over his parents’ shoulders as they drew up plans for his childhood home. After leaving his native Canada and a career in banking, he followed his passion for interior design. He become a partner at Plantation Design in 2004 before co-founding Arden Home. Now a partner of the San Francisco showroom, Marc is proud to say he has designed many of the furniture pieces featured in the Arden Home collection. He is also the maestro of merchandising, diligently ensuring the showroom presents perfectly, day after day.

Niki Taylor

Niki’s journey to Arden Home Seattle began as an architecture student in Colorado, where she ultimately felt drawn to the expressive potential of interior design. Her architectural roots guide the interplay of form and function you’ll see in all her projects. She has since earned a master’s certificate from the Heritage School of Interior Design, and now specializes in creating custom designs tailored to each client. Niki is particularly drawn to maximalist design with its bold colors, patterns, and textures—weaving all wild ideas into beautiful, harmonious spaces.
